What is this world coming to?

Ok I just wnat to know what is this world coming to seriously? this girl in my hometown had a 3 year old boy maybe he was 2 anyways, she was a heroin addict and into drugs she was perscribed methadone.. anyways almost 2 years ago i remember hearing how he died, from what i heard was the mom and him were napping on the couch and then all of a sudden she woke up to feed him lunch and when she came to wake him up he was dead or something so me and my friend thought she maybe rolled on him and suffocated him, anyways we seen her at the bar like the next night getting drunk trying to find drugs. wtf thats messed up! anyways within the last year they have been doing all this court stuff with her because they did an autopsy and he died of methadone overdose! and i guess now she says she seen him with a bottle of methadone but didnt think anything of it and she was saying she didnt call the ambulance right away cause no where in the packet that comes with methadone did it say that it could be harmful. WTF its like HELLO you have to be DUMB to not think this stuff, and i think she killed him because how can a little boy get a hold of medication like that who would keep medication where the baby could get to it, and obviously keep it open cause im sure it was child proof. and who the hell doesnt call the ambulance if you find your kid with ANY medication at all. Im sorry but anyways she was found guilty for child neglect and like sentenced 8 years in prison plus a couple more for other charges, so what 10-15 years in prison! she should be gone for life. I just want to know why the heck do drug addicts any people like that have kids it should not be allowed! My cousin has a baby that is about 16 months old, she doesnt walk, my cousin brings her to my grandmas and she has white shirts that are turning black because she like never changes her, they say she is so dirty and never gets bathed, and when she goes there smells like pure smoke, my cousin lives in a house with like her friends which i doubt are good people i think he daughter needs to be taken away from her because she never takes care of her and i know my cousin and she has been a pretty bad girl growing up always causing trouble,lying about everything. its all so dumb i just want to know WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE HAVING CHILDREN THAT CANT RAISE THEM IN A GOOD HOME?! AND DOING DRUGS PROBABLY IN FRONT OF THE CHILDREN AND DOING W.E ELSE I DOUBT THEY ARE EVEN PAYING ATTENTION TO THE KIDS! I am 19 and have a 7 month old but i take care of him im with the dad and we live in a really cute condo and going to school and doingsomething with our lives not doing drugs and w.e else. I hate this, i saw a video of the boy who died that was posted by a friend just now and i cried, its so sad. i just dont get it.
