Can My Suzuki GS500 run on 1 cylinder?

it will run on one cylinder, but you should be able to tell cos it will run like a bag of spanners.you dont actually say what the symptoms are ? if its running on one ,could be the valves or piston rings but try the compression tester again because unless you have a mive hole in the piston you should get some compression ,could possibly be head gasket as well.hope this helps.if compression ok check plugs for spark and colour .if no spark on one check the plug on other ht lead, plug,then ht lead ,then coil
