Outdoor cubers ( long ridge)?

Although we have healthy seedlings in 3 " pots of long ridge cubers , my husband wants to grow them in greenhouse( packet states outside cubers) He has just bought me lovely greenhouse so cant complain. But will have to hand pollinate presumably as no bees in greenhouse to pollinate male/female flowers?. Will they be ok in a grow bag ? dont know how deep the roots grow. Also have heard if male and female flowers left on will make crop inedible as too bitter. Very confused help please :)
