SCIENCE HELP!!!!!!!!! (CHEMISTRY)?

Chemistry is easy if you ask the teacher to help explain it further but these equations don't seem to be completed for questioning...there should always be two sides (on the arrow) with elements but these only have one side. Are you sure that's the complete part???
